Health and Social Care Pathway
eie European Business School's, Health and Social Care pathway's objective is to equip learners with the underpinning knowledge, understanding and skills required for a career in the health and social care sector and to advance at a managerial level after. The programme enables learners to demonstrate their skills by producing evidence from their work or training activities. Learners will acquire care management skills in the Health and Social Care sector, both in Malta and abroad, by working and studying throughout their course.
Our Health and Social Care pathway is made up as follows:
Students can start from any level depending on the current qualifications that they possess. Please check our Health and Social Care Lecture Based and/or Online Courses.
Students will be required to work in the following fields whilst reading through the course:
- Elderly / Family Carers (Live In with Families)
- Elderly Carers and /or Assistant Nurses at Elderly Homes
- Hospital Health Carers and Assistant Nurses
- Hospital Care workers and / or Assistant Nurses
Awards and Short Courses (Academic / Non-Academic)

Our Awards have been accredited by the Malta Further and Higher Education Authority and come with an MQF Level and ECTS points attached to them, ensuring that our students receive a high-quality education. We understand that flexibility is essential for many students, which is why we offer online learning with the option to start any day, or lecture-based courses with fixed starting dates. Our Awards are designed to provide our students with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in their chosen field. We also offer an array of Short Courses under the brand "The eie Course in (title of course)”. These courses can be completed online and are available for enrolment any day, making it an ideal choice for those who want to learn about a specific subject without committing to a full degree or diploma program. These Courses are an excellent foundation for further academic pursuits and provide a solid understanding of the subject matter. The courses are budget-friendly and do not come with academic qualifications, unlike our diploma and degree programs. Upon completion of each module, students will receive a Digital Certificate, and an eie Certificate of Completion. Registration Process
- Students will receive a Conditional Offer Letter and an Invoice within 48 hours after applying through the Application link below.
- Once all the conditions of the Offer Letter are fulfilled and a payment is effected after the signature of the Student Agreement, the institute will issue a Letter of Acceptance and a receipt of payment confirming the course registration and the fees paid.
